Forty ways to wander
The book gathers 40 distinct coloring scenes rather than asking one motif to do all the work. There are moonflowers and ferns, rainy paths and quiet ponds, seed archives, moths, ravens, frogs, snails, and small garden moments. Some pages invite close attention to leaves and ironwork. Others give the eye a path into a wider scene.
Designed for your interpretation
Its square pages are intended to feel generous and approachable. Each illustration sits on a right-hand page with a blank reverse, and there is a test page for trying colors and materials. If you use a marker, place a protective sheet behind the page, since the paper is not a guarantee against bleed-through. Pencil, gel pen, and marker each bring their own character to the same drawing.
A book, not a prescription
One reader might make the greenhouse a warm place at dusk; another might turn its glass toward blue moonlight. The linework offers the setting.
